Linda Stratton has a love for tennis and kids. She has volunteered at InnerCity Tennis registration and on court nearly every Saturday for the last four years working with Level 1 players. By volunteering at least 30 hours a year, she has earned a $200 annual donation from her employer, UnitedHealth Care, and has recruited volunteers through the United Volunteers program. About 15 years ago, she started playing tennis at Reed Sweatt Tennis Center. She takes weekly lessons with Roger Boyer, plays singles, women’s and mixed doubles with friends, and competes on internal and USTA leagues. She has been employed by UnitedHealth Group for nearly 20 years in a variety of positions, most recently specializing in health care compliance with federal Medicare and Medicaid regulations. In addition, she has been the Associate Director of a non profit organization and the Director of a community education center, and has been employed by the state in a public policy position. Linda has a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, an MA in Community Education from the University of St. Thomas, and a Masters Certification in Project Management from George Washington University.
